Willows Development Plan Willows Development Plan Willows has a vision to acquire larger premises to provide: Couples counselling Family therapy Counselling for Children and Young People More Debt Advice Art and creative therapies Massage Willows also aim to; Extend our services Improve our training and office facilities Extend our work in the community with other organisations Run more economically Undertake further research Download Development plan leaflet During 2004/05 Willows launched Phase One of a Development Plan to raise an estimated £650,000 for new premises (which included equipping and refurbishment). During this first year £50,000 was raised locally, which enabled us to engage the services of a Fundraising Consultant. During 2006 Willows launched a Capital Appeal; Phase Two of the Development Plan, to raise a specific total of £500,000 to purchase larger premises. A Steering Group was set up with members offering expertise to support and offer ideas to Willows. At the end of 2006 the fundraising total had increased to £100,000. During the past year many applications have been submitted to Grant making bodies and local Trusts. September 2008 Due to some generous donations, including many pledges from individuals and Churches We are now in a strong position to purchase new premises for Willows. New Premises Willows moved into new premises on the 20th April 2009. Since then, we have refurbished the five counselling rooms. Our training facilities are now on-site and we have larger offices and now feel in a position to accommodate new services and expand existing ones. We are so grateful to all who have been involved with Willows on our long 'journey' to get here and we hope that you will continue to support us in the future.

Willows Development Plan
